AEC 10T10 wedding model auction open to all 27th May 2006
An EFE press release has appeared at www.britishmodelbuses.com revealing that the auction of the remaining AEC 10T10 Green line coaches 29903B produced for the wedding of Frank Joyce's daughter last year will actually be open to all collectors and not just members of the EFE Subscribers Service as previously suggested in my 17th May news posting.

Reproduced below is the full article by Frank Joyce that appeared in the last Subscribers Newsletter :
Through the past year I have been asked constantly what is to happen to the 10T10 models produced last year for my daughter's wedding. Diane & Terry have finally decided that the 30 models left will be put up for auction and the proceeds will go to a charity, In an attempt to make the auction as fair as possible to collectors with limited budgets the available models will be halved & 15 models will go to the top highest bids & 15 will be drawn at random from the rest of the sensible bids received. All bids must be sent by letter addressed to Gilbow Holdings Ltd, 32 Woodall Road, Enfield EN3 4LG and received by Monday 3rd July.
Telephone & Fax bids will not be accepted. All winning bids will be notified to arrange payment and when this is completed the names of just the lucky 15 drawn bids will appear in that months subscribers news letter.
