More specials for the LT Museum 19th April 2006
A mailing has been sent to standing order customers by London's Transport Museum, it contains details of two new commissioned EFE models and mentions that a new EFE Bus Set (No.14) is due to been announced in the mid Summer.

The first of the commissioned models is due in the late summer and will feature RTL501 wearing a red livery with cream upper deck windows and carrying destination blinds for route 51. The second model will be a Tilling's Transport Bristol RELH coach, it is hoped that this will be the first of a series of model coaches reflecing Victoria Coach Station and London's Coach heritage.

The same mailing also contains details of a prize draw for standing order customers, the winners will be given the chance to purchase an example of the rare Arriva Route 159 RM with Thank You Routemaster adverts, this was the special version produced for Arriva staff. 24 examples of 15635D (newsletter refers to it as 15638D which I believe is a mistake) are up for grabs with the draw to be made in July.

Photographs of some of the forthcoming new castings 16th April 2006
I've been sent some photographs taken at the recent Cobham Bus Museum Open Day which show some of the forthcoming truck castings and the RELH Coaches. The pictures are a little on grainy side but most of the models were displayed on revolving turntables in a glass case making photography somewhat difficult. Please note all these photographs show pre-production samples.

The OOC Zone 1st April 2006
After many requests I finally bowed to the pressure and have put together a new site covering the Corgi OOC range of bus and coach models, during the building of this new site updates to EFE Zone site have been reduced somewhat, hopefully now the major work is complete I'll be able to devote more time to this site once again.

The OOC Zone is a joint venture with Peter Harrison who kindly supplied virtually all the model information. I only added the advert information I had at hand and then converted his database into web pages.

The new site can be found at www.ooczone.co.uk or just click the button on the left. I intend to expand the present Fleet Focus section to cover the relevent OOC models in the coming months.
Regards
Kevin Ellis
