Major news from Sunrise is that the MBC Decals range has been acquired. Developed around thirty years ago by Graham Orchard, MBC has not been trading for the past few years, and has been greatly missed by many of its customers on account of the high quality and enormous range of transfers offered.

From the outset, both MBC and Sunrise transfers have been professionally silk-screen printed to the highest quality possible and enhanced by the application of tight varnish masks to eliminate unsightly over-generous varnish carrier films.

The matching standards - even to the use of the same printing company in recent years - and the complementary nature of the Sunrise and MBC ranges, makes excellent sense for the acquisition.

As a result of this, Sunrise has now added comprehensive ranges of transfers for the BET Group companies, London Transport, National Bus Company, Tilling Group companies, some PTEs and many others, in addition to its existing well-known Irish and Scottish ranges.

In due course, there will be integration and rationalisation of the two ranges, including standardisation of prices, but in the meantime orders can now be accepted for any items from the MBC range. The last MBC catalogue appears to have been in 2008, but anyone who has one can order from it now - but PLEASE CHECK AVAILABILITY AND PRICES before ordering.
