| Commissioned OOC Models |
Corgi have produced a commissioned model for the Alfreton based Tim Draper's Golden Holidays. I'm told the model is based on the companies Volvo B12M Plaxton Panther coach B12 TMD and is a limited edition of 1000 pieces. The model's Corgi ref code hasn't been confirmed yet, but the Draper's have now taken delivery of the models from Corgi which come in special packaging based on the operator's livery. Five unboxed factory escapees were recently sold on eBay by a Hong Kong based seller and the listing included photographs of the model. The models can be purchased from the Tim Draper's Booking office in Seven Square, Alfreton. For those living further a field, the models are also available by mail order and are priced £34.99 plus £4.50 UK post & packaging. Please note reports of the cancellation of the Arriva London Wright Eclipse Gemini II OM46504A/B have turned out to be incorrect, however all stock of both models have now been allocated to retailers. Corgi have now released the following OOC models in the UK.  OM42521A Preston Bus (route 8 Bus Station) - Dennis Trident East Lancs Double Deck Bus OM42521B Preston Bus (route 8 Moor Nook) - Dennis Trident East Lancs Double Deck Bus OM44118A Southern Vectis (route 32 Cowes and Gurnard) - Optare Solo Single Deck Bus OM44118B Southern Vectis (route 25 Newport) - Optare Solo Single Deck Bus It had been reported by some retailers that the following OOC models from the July-December catalogue had been been cancelled by Corgi, however both versions continued to still be listed as pre-order items on the Corgi online shop. Carlification: 22 August I can now confirm that these models haven't been cancelled after all, but all stock of both versions has now been allocated to retailers by Corgi. As a result some retailers are no longer able to accept new pre-orders or are cancelling some existing pre-orders for which additional stock can't be sourced. | Private Bachmann 25th Anniversary EFE Model |
| EFE have produced another special model for Bachmann which this time has been used as a gift for appointed Bachmann dealers who attended a recent company trade event. The model carries the same base livery as an Alexander Y coach issued to mark EFE's 20th anniversary back in 2008. The model carries Bachmann Europe PLC fleet names and registration 25 OLD, its not known how many were produced.  Model is similar to the earlier model 22515AS 22519 Bachmann 25th Anniversary - Alexander Y Type Coach with early style front grille. |
