Confirmed Oxford Die-cast Omnibus Range Releases

The following models have now been released to UK retailers. 76MW001 Royal Blue - Bristol MW6G ECW Coach (1/76 scale) NNR002 Go Ahead London (route 12) - New Routemaster Bus (N scale) This model was also included in the recently released London Transport set NSET004.

Ruby Toys Release Leyland Tiger TD Class Model

I reported back in June 2015 on the proposed production of a 1/48 scale London Transport TD Class Mann Egerton bodied Leyland Tiger bus. The Ruby Toys model was designed to resemble a typical early Dinky Toys product from the 1950's. It was the first bus model for the range which already contained a selection of lorries & vans from that era. Ruby Toys: 46 Leyland Bus (click to enlarge) John Hope from Ruby Toys has contacted me to say that the model is now available and depicts JXC 288 (TD95) on route 215 bound for Kingston. The models are priced £110.00 plus £4.50 P&P and can be ordered directly from John Hope by sending a cheque made payable to J.Hope to The Priory, Little Wymondley, Herts SG4 7HD. Orders can also be placed using PayPal via the www.rubytoys.co.uk website which contains full details of all the other models currently available in the range. A second bus is also planned and will depict a London Transport AEC Regal T class bus which was the Country area's equivalent of the Central area's Leyland Tiger. Examples of this model can be reserved by sending a cheque for £10 (per model) made payable to John Hope.

Confirmed Atlas Editions Releases

The nineteenth model in the Atlas Editions Classic Coaches Collection arrived today. This model us 1/72nd scale and is identical to a model already released by Atlas Editions in other parts of Europe. 4642 119 GEVU, Holland - Leyland Tiger Cub Verheul Single Deck Bus I can also confirm that the eighteenth model in the series was released in January. Atlas didn't send me a model last month for some unknown reason. If anyone can supply photographs of the model below, please contact me. New Britbus Models Announced

The following Britbus (Asianbus range) Hong Kong related models will be released in the UK later this year. There are no images of the models at present, although I believe theses were announced in Hong Kong sometime ago. CB17 New World First Bus - Guy Arab Tow Truck CB18 New World First Bus - Guy Arab Tree Cutter CB19 China Motor Bus 'Money Box' After version - Guy Arab CB20 China Motor Bus 'Money Box' Early version - Guy Arab I've been informed that a new Britbus model has been commissioned by Adrian Lemon based on the Dublin Bus "Wedding Bus Livery" the model will be based on Leyland Olympian RH39, which operated during 1990's. The model is expected to be released around April or May of this year. I have no other details at this time. I presume the livery will be similar to THIS VEHICLE, as featured on the DUBLINBUS.CC 2004-2017 site.

New EFE Model Commission For LT Museum

The following model will be on sale at the next Acton Depot Open Weekend on the 22/23 April. It will be limited to 214 pieces & will retail for £34.99 at the event. The model artwork was done by EFE prior to the Bachmann take over, but the actual production of the model was carried out by Contour Equipment who are now the new owners of the former Gilbow (Holdings) subsidiary. 15632B Arriva London (RM6 - route 137 Oxford Circus) - AEC RM Class Routemaster Bus (original casting) The model carries a plain gold livery and only has registration, legal lettering & garage running number decals applied.
