| Latest T i N Y Model Kit |
The latest kit released by TiNY is 1/76 scale model of the Willowbrook 'Spacecar' coach this futuristic body design broke the mould when it was launched by the bodybuilder back in the late 1970's. The kit, TK42, is priced £39 and is already down to limited stock following the fulfillment of all the pre-orders for it. | 1/48th Scale London Transport TD Class Leyland Tiger |
| John Hope has contacted me with news about his Ruby Toys models range of 1/48th scale die-cast models. Ruby Toys are planning to produce ten die-cast models which are designed in the style of the classic Dinky Toys of the 1950's. Over the last three years four commercial vehicles from the 1940's & 1950's have been produced and each of these is available in a selection of different liveries that are usually limited to just one hundred certificated pieces. A fifth model of a Shelvoke and Drewry refuse wagon is currently being tooled & is expected to be available in October. Model bus fans may well be interested in the next Ruby Toys model (no.46) which will be based on a 1949 London Transport central area Leyland Tiger TD class single deck bus.  Ruby Toys No. 46 will be based on a Leyland Tiger bus similar to the preserved TD95 The 1/48th scale model will be available in early 2016 and you can register your interest now with Ruby Toys and hold one of these models with a £10 deposit. | Hachette Model Bus Partworks Are Just Trial Runs? |
| Hachette have recently been advertising two model bus related partwork magazines in the UK. The first already reported, was a 1/12th scale "Build The Routemaster" (see the news item posted on the 26th April) while the second was the "Buses of the World" collection of 1/43rd scale models. Apparently the first four issues of the Buses of the World magazine have been available through selected newsagents in some parts of the UK in past weeks, however I've now received two reports concerning these publications that suggests these were probably just trials to gauge the demand for the possible full run of both. Those who submitted subscription requests for the Routemaster partwork are receiving a magnifying glass and a letter explaining that due to production issues it has been temporarily suspended. Meanwhile those who have tried to sign up for the Buses of the World partwork have been told the following by Hachette "Unfortunately the limited four-issue run of Buses of the World has now come to an end, and we will be looking at the level of interest before making a decision about whether the collection will be launched nationally in the near future." The four 1/43rd models issued will be a London Transport RT, Greyhound Scenicruiser, a Mercedes Benz 0-10000 and a Citroen Type 45. |

| EFE exhibited three previously un-announced models today at the Southdown 100 Rally on Southsea Common. Barry Sullivan has kindly sent me photographs and details of the models. The details below were confirmed by EFE on the 9 June, the Solent Blue Line Bristol VRT has been allocated catalogue number 31822. |

| New EFE Model For Bachmann Stockists |
| TTC Die-cast have advised that EFE are producing another exclusive model for Bachmann appointed stockists. The latest model is unusual as it depicts a flat screen Bristol VRT which has been converted into a mobile training unit for British Rail. The bus BNU 679G started life with Midland General and appears to have been used by British Rail during the late 1980's & early 1990's. A model which should appeal to both bus & train collectors a like. Some flickr photographs of the bus in 1986 TTC Diecast will be stocking of the model, which has a RRP of £37.50, they are however accepting pre-orders for the special price of £31.88.  38119 British Rail D. of M. & E.E. | Nine New OOC Models Announced By Corgi |
| Corgi have announced five new models in the July-December 2015 catalogue, all but one of these will be feature a dual destination option. It appears Corgi have used the earlier OM46503 model to illustrate the destinations for OM46508A/B.
