Model Buses Creations is a partnership between Mark Oakley of Model Buses Collection & Iwan Jones of Iwan’s Bus Bits who created a new Model Bus Brand for the Creation and Development of ‘Highly Detailed Model Buses In Miniature’ for Collectors and Enthusiasts across the UK and around the World.

The first three models were announced in December 2021, these comprised a Dublin spec Britbus Leyland/Volvo Olympian Alexander RH double deck bus in unpainted kit form, and a fully assembled Northcord ADLEnviro400H MMC in a generic London red livery. Both models are intended to appeal to those wishing to apply their own liveries or vehicle & destination transfers.

The third model was the first of a planned series of models to be produced in co-operation with the Stagecoach Group & Northcord Models, these will be fully assembled & decorated items intended for model collectors.

The first product, the Britbus Olympain kit was released in December 2021, this and all the othert models are exclusively available from the Model Buses Collection online store or via Brian Collins Enterprises in the Republic of Ireland.

Model Buses Collection moved out of their Twickenham shop in 2023 & have yet to confirm details of any future new shop.

Six new models were announced for the second half of 2023, in addition to further Northcord items there are also the first commissions from Corgi.

2024 saw further selection of Wright Gemini 2 OOC commissions including at least three depicting provincial operators, there are also three further Northcord commissions, 4 Scania Omnicity & another Alexander Dennis Enviro400.

At the end of 2024 more Northcord Enviro 400/MMC models were announced for 2025, MBC also revealled that it had purchased the existing Enviro200 model toolings from Northcord and these would be used for new MBC releases going forward into 2025.
