London Transport Museum Model News
London's Transport Museum have started to dispatch the second green RT 10132C to customers who placed advanced orders. This model is already believed to be completely sold out.
Next weekend will see the the Routemaster 50th Anniversary Rally at Finsbury Park in North London, The Museum is expected to have two special Routemaster models available at this event, however at this time I have been unable to find any further details. It is also my understanding that the the Prototype Routemaster Sets 99927 will also be available shortly. I will pass on any additional information as soon as I get it.

Diecast Routemaster Central Garage
Sadly I've learned that the owner of this excellent web site is planning to close it shortly due to a recent lack of visitors. The site contains a wealth of information on the wide variety of different Routemaster models which have appeared over the years, including most of the EFE examples. A very nice site which I will very much miss. Take a look for yourselves Now Off-line.

LOTS Routemaster
The London Omnibus Traction Society's latest monthly newsletter 'The London Bus' reports that there are still a few unsold examples of the Society's 40th Anniversary Routemaster left.
15635A will next be available to members at the July meeting, and if any stock still remains, on the 24th and 25th July at the RM 50 Rally in Finsbury Park. Whether any models will be available to non members, is not made clear however.

Possible Livery Error
I've received an email from Grahame, a life long Great Yarmouth resident, who has pointed out that the forthcoming Leyland Atlantean 16525 should have cream, rather than white lower deck window surrounds. The same mistake was also made on the Bristol VRT model 20413.
Let's hope EFE correct the mistake, before releasing the production versions.

Thanks for Visiting The EFE Zone
I just like to thank everyone who's taken the time to visit my new site. In less than two days I've had over 500 hits on the home page. I have to admit I was expecting less than 50. Thanks to all those who have contacted me with offers of help, or kind words of encouragement.

The www.efezone.co.uk address now seems to be working again, if anyone sent an email yesterday and hasn't received a reply yet, then it may have gone astray, the email address was supplied by the same people as the domain name.
If you sent an email today, I'm still in the process of working my way though the back log, you will get a reply eventually.

The EFE Zone Launches
The EFE Zone went public today with a simple announcement on the Diecast Buses interactive Yahoo! Group.
Diecast Buses Yahoo Group
One of the internet's biggest sites for diecast bus and tram collectors - free Weekly email newsletters.

Welcome to my site dedicated to the models produced by Exclusive First Editions, and it's parent company Gilbow Holdings. The site has taken nearly two years of work, to get to it present state and now contains details of all the models produced since the birth of EFE in 1989. This not only includes the buses, but also the often over looked trucks, sports cars and tube trains.
I hope you find the contents useful, any email feed back, particularly pointing out errors, or offers of missing model pictures would be most welcome.

The site is by the way totally unofficial and is in no way endorsed or connected to EFE or Gilbow Holdings.
