New Ramblers Holidays Code 2 Model Ramblers Holidays have commissioned a number of EFE models in the past and after a long break have now announced a new EFE double deck bus model. The code 2 release will use issue 10122 as it's base and will feature a Red London Transport SRT 1 operating country area route 351. Ramblers Holidays adverts will also feature on a pair of code 3 OOC Q type buses. Full details regarding all these models and how to order them can be found on the August News page at British Model Buses.com which was also my source for this item. | 27 Aug
EFE Zone and Web Security It's been brought to my attention that some the advert banners previously added to this site by my ISP Wanadoo have contained Spyware, these are small programs which load with the advertisements and allow cookies to be altered and could in theory lead to personal data being copied from your computer. I find this totally inexcusable of my ISP to allow adverts with this content and have therefore decided to nobble these. I would advise anyone concerned to download Spybot S&D or a similar application which will identify and remove these programs which are now commonly found across the net. Thanks goes to Duncan Holden for bringing this problem to my attention. | 27 Aug

Some Good And Bad News For AEC Truck Collectors The bad news is that no more releases of the familiar Mammoth Major truck cab will be made, however the good news is that the original AEC cab has been modified to produce the later style mark III cab which has an extended cab front and longer radiator. This will be joining the already announced mark IV cab which is due to make its debut in the near future. The first two releases of the mark III cab will see a 4 axle flatbed in Marston Valley Brick Co livery and a promotional 4 axle tanker to mark Jet Petrol's 50th Anniversary. | 24 Aug
Revised EFE Zone Model Numbering System I've now revised some of the model numbers used on this site to bring it closer to that used in Anne Letch's excellent 'EFE & Corgi OOC Model Buses - A Collectors' Reference Guide'. Hopefully this change will reduce any confusion. I've kept my additional suffix codes to make identification of Gift Set (GS), De-regulation Series (DR) and Gilbow Railway Collection (GRC) models easier. These changes mainly affect the RT and RM model sections. | 18 Aug
