| Confirmed & Next Corgi OOC Releases |
The following model has now been released by Corgi in the UK. OM46310 London Transport - AEC RM Routemaster (Corgi 60th Anniversary) The following are expected to be the next Corgi OOC models & these are currently scheduled for release during the week ending the 16 July.  OM41417A Glasgow Corporation (route 45) - Daimler CVG6 Roe Bus OM41417B Glasgow Corporation (route 48A) - Daimler CVG6 Roe Bus Confirmation Of Routes & Destinations I've contacted Corgi and today they have confirmed that the correct destinations for the two Lothian Buses Wright Eclipse II models announced last week, will be as follows. OM46712A 43 Waverley OM46712B 21 Leith Hill The destinations were correctly shown on the website, but those quoted in the new catalogue are a misprint. |

| Confirmed Atlas Editions Release |
| The tenth model in the Atlas Editions Classic Coaches Collection has now been released. This latest model like the last release (see June 9 news item) is based on the Corgi OOC 1/76 scale tooling. These latest 1/76 scale models are unfortunately screwed to the base using triangular headed screws which makes separating them rather tricky.  4642 110 Allander Travel - Bova Futura Coach |

| EFE Bachmann Stockists Exclusive Models Update |
A further update was received from Hattons Model Railways today concerning the release dates for the following three Bachmann Stockist's exclusive EFE models. 
 25711 London Transport (Bus & Coach Council livery/route 70) - Daimler Fleetline DMS Double Deck Bus 28825 London Transport Titan Prototype (route 024) - Leyland Titan B15 Double Deck Bus 31514 London Transport Shoplinker - AEC Routemaster RM Class Double Deck Bus All three are now expected to be released in September 2016, last week an update indicated that the Shoplinker model's release had slipped back to November or December. |

| Seven New Corgi OOC Models Announced |
| Corgi have released details of the seven new OOC models included in the new July-December 2016 catalogue. There's a strong focus on London vehicles among this latest batch of models, but sadly there are no new OOC model toolings to report. Note that the catalogue and website list different destination details for the Lothian models: The catalogue states OM46712A will be 21 Leith Links & OM46712B will be 40 Penicuit, however the website shows OM46712A as 43 Waverly and OM46712B as 21 Leith Links. Update 29 June Corgi have confirmed that the correct destinations for these models will be those shown on their website, there is a misprint in the catalogue. | Confirmed EFE Release & Another Shoplinker RM Delay |
The following EFE model has now been released by EFE in the UK. 31911 London Country NBC (route 407) - AEC RML class Routemaster Bus I've also received an update from Hattons Model Railways on the release date of the much anticipated Shoplinker Routemaster model 31514, Update 28 June A further update recieved today now indicates the model is expected to be released in September 2016. |

| Hornby To Cut Product Range By 40% |
| Hornby has announced plans to cut back its current model range by 40% in 2017. Reducing the number of lines to 1400 across its various UK & European ranges. The company also said it will refocus on its core UK ranges and quit concession shops to focus on selling products through its online business, which has seen sales grow by 39pc since 2013. These changes come as the company announced its pre-tax losses had increased to £13.5 million in the year to March 31 following supply problems & lower than expected sales. The company also plans to place £8 million worth of shares to fund the turnaround plan. Hornby warned that if the placing fails, it would be unable to repay some £8m in debts it owes, mainly to Barclays who has agreed a three-and-a-half-year £10m credit facility, but only if investors agree to the share placing at a vote on July 8. | New Commissioned EFE Model Announced |
| Invicta Model Rail, Sidcup, has announced their next Limited Edition EFE model, this will be produced exclusively for themselves and the Plymouth City Transport Preservation Group. Half of all profits will go the PCTPG to help them with their ongoing work preserving Plymouth’s transport history. The group is celebrating it’s tenth year, and is now settled in its new Colebrook premises just outside of Plymouth.  The model is a Limited Edition of 200 pieces, and will be available initially at two events organized by the PCTPG group over the weekend of the 16 & 17 July. The first event on the Saturday will be the Bretonside Bus Station closure event, this will be followed on the Sunday by the groups annual Bus Rally & Running Day at George Junction Park & Ride. After these events the models will be available from Invicta Model Rail, who are now taking advance pre-orders. The models (ref code 99207A) are priced £19.99 each plus P&P.
