Having produced high quality waterslide transfers for model buses and trams for a few years, Sunrise launched a range of 1/76th scale resin bus and coach kits in 2012. The emphasis of the range will be on prototypes produced in the 1920s/1980s period, including some from lesser known or smaller scale manufacturers.

All kits are designed for ease of assembly and produced to a high standard. They incorporate chassis detailing and, if appropriate, include some printed glazing and a few bespoke waterslide transfers. Some kits also warrant the production of separate, comprehensive transfer sets to enable completion of models in particular liveries.

It is strongly recommended that kits are reserved as soon as possible after they are announced, as just enough will be produced to meet the level of demand identified. While there is no obligation if a reservation is made (and no need for payment until the kit is available), this system helps to give an indication of how many should be produced. There is no guarantee that any Sunrise kit will go to a second production run.
