Oxford NWFAxxx & NWFLxxx Series Weymann Fanfare AEC & Leyland Coaches |
The Weymann Fanfare Coach was produced in the 1950s and were some of the first such bodies to have a full fronted design rather than the more traditional half cab layout. The bodywork was fitted to several different makes of chassis including AEC & Leyland. Operators who used these coaches included South Wales, Grey Cars, Southdown, Yorkshire Woolen & Sheffield Corporation, among others. The first issue of the Leyland version was in October 2017 wheb it was included in a Southdown set, an individual release of the same model is expected to follow in early 2018 along with the first AEC version. |
