Friday 29th September
An Exclusive Model for Modelzone Stores

        Corgi are to produced a special Wright Eclipse Gemini exclusively for sale through the Modelzone chain of stores. The model depicts Go North East 3943 / NK05GZP in X10 livery and is a limited edition of 1500 pieces, which will be available with a choice of either "Newcastle via Gateshead" or "Middlesbrough via Stockton" destinations . The model is expected to be released before the end of the year. Modelzone stores are now excepting pre-orders for the models.

Four New Models Announced

        Corgi have announced a number of additional OOC models all expected to be released before the end of the year.
OM45908 Van Hool T9 Coach & cold cast diorama - Maynes of Buckie
OM45909 Van Hool T9 Coach - Shearings (Grand Tourer livery)
OM41216 Wright Gemini Eclipse - Go North East X10 livery (Produced for the Modelzone chain of stores - Limited edition of 1500 pieces)
OM42516 East Lancs Vyking - Go Whippet (Exclusive model for Corgi Platinum Stockists only - Limited edition of 600 pieces)

Expected Releases

        It had been reported that the Barton Transport RTW and Tamar Set were due to be released in early September I can confirmed that to date neither item has been released yet.

RTW A Model Review

        Corgi have now released their much anticipated RTW bus casting, originally due in July the model was initially pre-launched two weeks ago via London's Transport Museum. The general release took place on the 1st September when wholesalers and Corgi Platinum dealers received their models.
