Another Month & Another Brekina Routemaster

Brekina has announced a further variation of it's 1:87 scale Routemaster, again this model appears to be based on the original release of the Greenline version 61101, but with additional side adverts Long John Whiskey. 61110 Greenline RM1432 (482 CLT) route 721 London (Aldgate) Long John Whiskey adverts - AEC Routemaster RM Bus (1:87th scale) This model is scheduled for release in Germany in December, the UK release is expected to follow soon after.

Black Friday Offers & 1:12 Routemaster Available Again

There's not usually a lot of model bus related Black Friday offers, but checking around I've found a couple that may be of interest. I'm not being paid to promote any of these offers. Rails of Sheffield This retailer is offering a Black Friday discount of 5% off all in stock items until the 30/11/21. They have stock of most of the recently released Rapido Trains UK Birmingham Leyland Fleetline & New Look Guy Arab models, with the existing 15% & Black Friday 5% discounts (latter applied & checkout) this reduces the price of the Rapido buses down to £44.18 each. LBRT Transfers Until Midnight Saturday there is a 15% discount code available on all transfer orders. Note also that after this offer ends a price increase is going to be applied across some of the range to reflect the raising manufacturing costs of the transfers. Hatchette Partworks Not a bus offer, but if you built the previous 1:12 scale Routemaster, you might be interested in Hatchette's latest road vehicle model which is a 1:12 scale Eddie Stobart DAF articulated truck. Currently there's a Black Friday offer of 50% the first 10 issues of this partwork for all new subscribers until the 29/11. (There are 140 issues in total) Agora Models Not a Black Friday offer, but the Hatchette 1:12 Routemaster kit is available once again with an faster delivery option of either 12 or 24 months for all of the parts. Model Bus Federation November Journal Review

The latest issue of the Model Bus Federation's Model Bus Journal has been sent to out members earlier this month. This is the only publication solely dedicated to model bus news & other related articles in the UK. Below is summary of the contents of the December 2021 issue. Omnidekka Models Update

Omnidekka Models reports that the release of the Epsom Coaches Quality Line OOC Optare Solo models CP44101A & CP44101B has been pushed back 2 weeks due to a shortage of delivery drivers. These models are now due to be delivered on the 10th December. Orders will be dispatched until the 21st December, the rest will be posted out after the Christmas holiday. Production has now started on the Britbus Scania Omnidekka models in Metrobus livery. The model will depict YN56 FDP (6939) and there will be two destination options ES-20A: 420 Whitebuses or ES-20B: 460 Epsom. Delivery of these models is now expected to be during February 2022. All four models can be pre-ordered through the omnidekkamodels.com site, a discount is also available if both destination versions of a model are purchased.
