Latest Atlas Classic Coaches Collection Model

The twenty Seventh model in the Atlas Edition's Classic Coaches Collection has now been released to in the UK. Oxford Omnibus Range, Next Releases & An Expansion Into 1/43 Scale

The following Oxford Diecast Omnibus range models are expected to be released to UK retailers in the next week or so. N Scale NAEC014 Southdown - AEC Matador Recovery Truck NSET003 Southdown Bus & Coach Set - (5 Models) Weymann Fanfare Coach, Leyland Royal Tiger Coach, Plaxton Panorama Coach, Leyland PD3 Queen Mary Bus & Guy Arab Utility Bus (All models have previously been issued as individual items bar the Weymann Fanfare coach which is due to be released as NWFL001 in early 2018) Update 27 September The next catalogue is due to be announced in early October and a new blog posting on the Oxford Diecast site indicates that among the as yet unnamed new tooling will be a 1/43 model for Omnibus range.

More 1/43rd Scale IXO & Hatchette Models For The UK

A further batch of the Hatchette Partworks 1/43 scale bus & coach models are being imported into the UK by wholesaler John Ayrey Diecast. These are actually manufactured by IXO. Update 22 September: Since posting this item yesterday evening, I've been back to the Ayrey's site again today and noticed all references to the Hatchette models mentioned below have now been removed. I don't know the exact reason for this, but quantities of some of the earlier models were very limited. The models are available from the Yardley Wood Bus Club for £15.00 each. TTC Diecast Announce Commissioned EFE Model

TTC Diecast have commissioned Bachmann to produce an exclusive model for them. The model will feature a dual door Leyland National MKI in Stagecoach East London Coaches livery. At this stage the registration, fleet number and route details have not yet been finalised and will be confirmed nearer the models release which is expected to be towards the end of the first quarter of 2018. The model will be limited to 500 pieces. Pre-orders are now open for the model at £32.99 (pre-orders will be delivered post free) For further details please visit the TTCDiecast.com site. TTC Diecast have also advised me, that they will be the UK agent for the Bus by Bono Stagecoach Northern Counties Paladin Dennis Dart (100104), this will be priced £56.99 delivered. Bus By Bono Model Preview

I've posted a preview of the upcoming Stagecoach Northern Counties Paladin bodied Dennis Dart which is due to be released by Bus by Bono next month. Bus by Bono kindly supplied a pre-production sample model for this preview which has some minor defects which will be corrected on the final production versions. Pre-orders are now open for these models and can be placed via the www.busbybono.com site, further details can also be found of their Facebook page. Only 300 models will be produced and will retail for HK$450. Based on the current exchange rate and delivery this works out at around £57.00 for those ordering from the UK. New 1/87 Scale Range Of North American Models

A new range of modern bus & coach models have been launched by Iconic Replicas from Industrial Diecast Design, available from Awesome Diecast based in Florida. So far ten different bus & coach models have been released in the Iconic Replicas 1/87 range. Each of the models is available in a selection of different operator liveries. Blank white versions of most of the models are also available. The models are available from the Awesome Diecast retail site and pre-orders are also being accepted for all the upcoming releases. The models retail for between £20-25 each plus delivery. Awesome Diecast has flat-rate shipping to UK/Europe regardless of number of buses ordered.
