| Second Corgi Collector Club NB4L Model Announced |
| The latest issue of the "Corgi Collector" Club Magazine contains details of a second New Bus for London model for members. The model OM46608 will depict LT6 (LT12 FHT) with Phantom of the Opera adverts and is expected to be available from May. The model can be received along with the annual club subscription for (currently £35 in the UK) and follows the existing club model OM46603 featuring LT4 (LT12 DHT) with Singin' In the Rain adverts. There's a photograph of the real LT6 with the Phantom of the Opera adverts HERE The model will also be available as a stand alone item to club members for £35. | Kingsway Models Garage Extensions |
| The latest editions to the Kingsway Models range are two Garage extension kits. Intended as a means to extend model bus garages in the Kingsway Models range, the GGXa and GGXb Generic Garage Extension kits enable a flexible system of increasing the covered area.   The kits have internal and external detail, including a representation of roof trusses. Entrances may be added where required. Roof units may be removable although it is recommended that the walls are fixed to a permanent base. A GGXa kit provides three walls and a roof enclosing an area 10" x 10"; adding a GGXb kit will increase this to 20" x 10".   GGXa available at £14 GGXb at £11. Prices include UK first class postage. | Atlas Edition Coach Series Update | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Following the appearance of an Atlas Editions Burlingham Seagull Whittle & Sons model on eBay (5 March News Item) I can now confirm this model has been dispatched to some UK customer who responded to the magazine flyers. The model is supplied with details of six further models which appear to be similar to existing tooling used by not only Corgi and Oxford Diecast but also EFE. All the models announced so far are based on preserved vehicles. UPDATE: EFE have advised me that none of the models listed below that appear similar to existing models in their range have been produced by them. EFE have stated they have no connection whatsoever with this Atlas Editions Collection. These are the models included on the publicity supplied with the Whittle's Coach, there's still no mention of this collection on the Atlas Editions website which suggests that they are still gauging the potential demand for the models before deciding whether to do a full launch of the collection.

| Next TTC Diecast Resin Release |
TTC Diecast have advised that they expect to take delivery of their second exclusive Resin Specialist Optare Spectra model at the end of March.  They've supplied some photographs of a new pre-production sample, but note that the final production models will have tampo printed decals rather than the transfers used on the sample. The model is a limited edition of just 200 pieces and TTC are expecting a sell out. The models are still available for special pre-order price of £64.99, but this will increase to £74.99 after they arrive in stock. Further details can be found on the WWW.TTCDIECAST.COM Website. | 10 New OOC Models Announced |
| Corgi have announced the OOC releases for the period from July to December 2013. There are 10 new models and a new tooling of a Wright Eclipse II single deck bus. All bar one of the models will be produced with dual destinations. There also details of the more basic version of the New Bus for London model aimed at the tourist market which will retail for £9.99.  The OOC model details are shown below but you can view the full list of other models in the catalogue on the Corgi website |

They are being sold as a three model set which at present is only available to subscribers of the Buses magazine. The models are each limited to 200 pieces and come in standard individual EFE boxes. | Sunrise Model Kits Update |
George Heaney has sent details of his growing range of Sunrise resin model bus & coach kits, several new kits are currently being prepared and these will be released over the next 12 months. Pre-orders are now being accepted for all of these kits. The latest kit features a 1955 Alexander single-deck bus George has already sold out of his first two kits (shown below) and has just launched the third kit, a 1955 Alexander single-deck bus. The next kit will be a 1929 Leyland TD1/Cowieson double deck bus. The models have a strong Scottish flavour much like the existing range of Sunrise waterslide bus transfers. | New Atlas Editions Coach Model Spotted |
| An eBay seller based in Hong Kong has auctioned a Atlas Editions 1/76 scale Burlingham Seagull Coach in J.T. Whittles & Sons livery. The model appears to be a copy of the 1/50th scale Corgi Classics model which was issued in the Whittles Buses Gift Set 97069 back in the 1990's. This model has been recently advertised in flyers distributed with some regional TV listing magazines and appears to be a evaluation model to gauge if there sufficient demand for a future full series of Atlas model coaches. I understand the model was being advertised for low introductory price much like the London RTW for the previous Great British Buses Collection. There is no mention of this new model on the Atlas Editions website at present. Check the eBay Listing HERE. |

| Latest EFE Subscribers Newsleter |
| EFE will be attending the South East Bus Festival & Heritage Transport Show at the Kent Showground in Detling on Saturday 6th April. This year is the 60th Anniversary of London Transport's Guy Special GS class and there will be a special display at the event. Following Frank Joyce's request for model suggestions from subscribers in the last newsletter, he reports that there's been a good response and several detailed submissions are already going forward into production. One previously un-announced model is listed among the future releases, but theres are no further details as yet. 14409 Grey Green Leyland National Mark I Short The newsletter includes order forms to two subscriber models, the first is the Leyland National recently produced for the Australian Trux range while the second features a Bristol RELL bus in Hants & Dorset N.B.C. livery. Both models are priced £30 for UK subscribers. |
