EFE New Year Subscriber Models

EFE have released details of the two models being produced exclusively for it's Subscription Service Members. Both models are expected to be released towards the end of January and are priced £19.00 each inc UK P&P.

Also released is the commissioned Routemaster 31905 produced for Ian Allan Publishing, my example arrived in todays post. Seven Models Now Due Next Week

Five New Models Announced By EFE

EFE have announced details of five new models in its latest bulletin to traders. The previously announced Leyland National 14604 in West Yorkshire N.B.C. livery is due to be released in February. The pre-production model is shown but this still has a roof pod, DNW840T was a Series B type bus and would never have had a roof pod fitted. The vehicle is now preserved in the livery depicted and a picture is available Here. I'm sure EFE are aware of this slight oversight.

EFE & Corgi OOC Model Buses Guide Pre-Orders

Nigel Mitchell from London Bus Repaints & Transfers has contacted me regarding some important information concerning the next edition of the "EFE & Corgi OOC Model Buses - A Collectors Reference Guide". Sadly due to family related circumstances he has reluctantly decided to end his involvement as publisher of the guide and will therefore be unable to deal with any pre-orders for the 8th edition which is due in the Summer 2008. He would like those proposing to pre-order the next edition to ignore the details and order form printed in the current edition as any payments he receives will have to be returned to the sender. Anne Letch the guides author is still intending to produce a new edition in 2008 and is currently arranging a new publisher. Once this is done revised details of how to place advance orders will be posted on the LBRT website.
