The site can now be accessed via its new www.themodelbus.com domain. Tony Price the owner of the site advises that anyone wishing to visit his site should use the new address shown above as at present a technical issue has unexpectedly disabled the former address. The Woldwidewide Model Buses Yahoo discussion group is unaffected by the changes and will continue under its present identity. |

Two New Bus Models Announced |
EFE's latest trade bulletin lists six models, these include four of the lorries that were exhibited at the London Toy Fair earlier this year and two new previously unannounced double deck bus models. 36901 Devon General - AEC Regent V Double Deck Bus (Due June) 30103 Pickfords - AEC Mark III Four Axle Tanker (Due May) 32702 Milk Marketing Board - Thames Trader Two Axle Flatbed (Due May) 34403 Spiers of Melksham - AEC Mark V Four Axle Flatbed (Due May) 36801 Showerings of Somerset - ERF KV Articulated Flatbed (Due May) |

The Kirkland Bros Leyland Atlantean originally produced for the Australian Trux range is now being mailed out by EFE to it's Subscription Service Members.

Acton Depot Open Weekend |
The latest event at the London Transport Museum's Acton Depot takes place this weekend and as usual these spring open days focus on London's Transport in miniature.
There will be both professional & amateur modellers exhibiting their working model layouts and
EFE are also due to attend the event. The Depot is open between 11.00 & 17.00 on both Saturday & Sunday (7 & 8 March) further details can be found on the Museum's website. EFE have produced the following commissioned model which will be on sale at the event for £29.99. 23319A London Transport Green RF700 (route 322 to Watford Junction) - AEC Regal IV RF Single Deck Bus Remaining stock of the three standing order customer models released last month by the Museum are also due to go on general sale at the event. |

Commissioned Model Releases |
Two commissioned code 2 items based on the recent First Aberdeen Wright Volvo Renown model 27624 have come to light.
Pictures & further details including how to obtain the models have been published on the www.britishmodelbuses.com site (February News Page). Both models appear to retain the original's fleet number, registration & destination but have additional advertising panels applied.
