Acton Depot Open Weekend Reminder |
The next event at the London Transport Museum's Acton Depot takes place this coming weekend, 3 & 4 March, see the news item posted on 30th January for further details.
In regards to the specially commissioned red EFE RML that is to be available at the event. I've been contacted by Peter Coe at London Bus Retail who has been in contact with Museum and advises that these models will be strictly limited to just one per person at the event. The museum has already announced that it will be unable to except any mail orders for these models because of ongoing stocktaking related to the forthcoming relocation of it's Covent Garden Shop.

LT Museum Routemaster Model Revised |
It's been reported at www.britishmodelbuses.com that the Routemaster model commissioned for the Open Weekend at the LT Museum's Acton Depot on the 3 & 4 March and mentioned in my 30 January news item has been revised. The original model is now unlikely to arrive from China in time for the event, therefore EFE are to supply a substitute model in the form of a red London Transport RML2410 on route 5C to Bloomsbury. The Museum Shop has also announced that it will be unable to supply this model by mail order due to ongoing stocktaking connected with it's pending move to new premises.
