| Red CR For London Bus Museum's TransportFest |
The London Bus Museum are planning to release a second specially commissioned Resin Specialists Leyland Cub CR Class single deck bus model at their forthcoming TransportFest event. The latest model features red central area CR47 (registration FXT 153) on route 213 bound for Sutton LT Garage. This model follows the Museum's earlier green version RS76640 released back in April which was a replica of the Museum's own preserved CR16.
The new model will be available from the Museum shop during the TransportFest event on Sunday 19 October and will also be made available via the Museum's online shop for those unable to attend the event. The model is expected to be priced around £70. The London Bus Museum and Jotus are working together on some further unique models including a vintage double decker. It's expected to be sometime before these are ready to be released however as plans are still at an early stage. Photographs of the pre-production sample CR47 model can be found on the Collectors Club of Great Britain site. |

| Another Exclusive EFE Model For Bachmann Retailers |
| EFE have supplied some hi-res photographs of a second exclusive Irish model for Bachmann appointed retailers. This follows the pending release of similar exclusive PD2 model in the green C.I.E. livery (16136) which was announced earlier this year. The latest model depicts C.I.E. Leyland Titan PD2 R428 (registration ZJ 1388) in the dark blue & cream livery. The model is shown heading for Aston's Quay on route A 78 with via points of Thomas Street, Kilmainham, Sarsfield Road & Ballyfermot Road. Period side adverts for Amicardo Irish Sherry & Fruitfield are carried along with M & H adverts on the front. | Latest EFE Subscribers Newsletter |
| The 6th newsletter of the year arrived today from EFE along with the 7th release sheet. The long awaited Midland General AEC RLH Bus is still on track for release next month and Frank Joyce says suggestions to produce a Bristol VRT in Midland General livery are a good idea. After a long break work has once again resumed on some new tooling, the first of which involves the Atkinson & Foden lorries. This new tooling will enable a wider range of fleet liveries to be produced and will allow the slight changes made to the design of the Foden cab over its life to be better reflected. I believe the Atkinson cab will likely gain a variation with twin headlamps. The recent pair of models produced for subscribers to celebrate EFE's 25th Anniversary are now almost sold out. There are no previously unannounced models listed in this [articular newsletter. |

| Pre-Production CMNL Models |
| A number of CMNL pre-production models have been auctioned on eBay over recent weeks. Among these are two depicting models announced by CMNL prior to the company creasing to trade in early 2012. A number of previously announced models have also come to light. The models are unboxed and many had parts missing and/or etchings in the paint work. The known models are the National Express West Midlands Scania Omnicity double decker UKBUS9009 and the Stagecoach in Manchester Alexander Dennis Enviro200 single decker. Doug Stewart & Frankie Jordan have acquired two pre-production examples of the Enviro200 model and both have kindly supplied photographs.(link below) An interesting feature on these sample models is the fitting of an alternative side window tooling which depicts gasket fitted glazing with rounded corners. This window variation has to date never been used on any production version of the Enviro200 model. Both samples also have the rear window assembly from the Robin Hood issue UKBUS8010 model which bears the fleet number 36003.
