Corgi Model Release Schedule Update

Most of the outstanding Corgi model bus related releases have been delayed since they were initially announced earlier this year. The new expected dates below are taken from the www.corgi.co.uk site and may be subject to further changes.

Bus By Bono Announce New Stagecoach Model

Bus By Bono's next UK release of the Northern Counties Paladin Dennis Dart will feature a Stagecoach Group vehicle. A review of first UK version released in First Group livery can be found HERE Pre-orders for the latest model will open on the 2nd September and can be placed via the www.busbybono.com website or Facebook Page. Delivery of the models is scheduled to start on the 23rd October 2017.

New Kits Announced By Saltire Models

Saltire Model Bus Kits has announced two new kits which are currently at the pre-production stage. The first is a Temsa Avenue single deck bus, further details about this model are expected to be published in October. The second model which is due in the Summer of 2018 and will be an ADL Enviro400 double deck bus. I'll post further details about both models as they become available. Below are some photographs of the early pre-production samples. Reservations for the Temsa Avenue kit are being accepted via the Saltire Model Bus Kits Facebook page, and only 40 kits will be produced. Temsa Avenue (40 kits to be produced. Latest Atlas Classic Coaches Collection Model

Model number twenty six in the Atlas Edition's Classic Coaches Collection has now been released to in the UK. Once again this is another 1/72nd scale model which is identical to one released previously in other parts of Europe. 4642 126 Heide Express, East Germany - Fleischer S5 Coach

Bachmann Heading To Gaydon For Buses Festival

The Bachmann Roadshow will be taking its EFE stand to the Buses Festival at British Motor Centre, Gaydon on Sunday the 20th August. Up to 100 vintage & modern vehicles are expected to attend the 2017 event which is organized by Buses Magazine. Further details can be found at: www.busesfestival.com

Next London Bus Museum Resin Specialst Model

The London Bus Museum's next exclusive Jotus/Resin Specialist model has been announced and will be a Tillings AEC Regent I double deck bus. These vehicle were absorbed into the London Transport ST Class and the Museum owns ST922 which was recently repainted into Thomas Tillings livery. The model is still in the early stages of pre-production and details of the fleet numbers & routes have yet to be decided. A total of 500 models are to be produced and these will be further split 50/50 with a choice of either the original Thomas Tillings or London Transport red liveries. The museum is also looking at producing a further 100 models in Tillings Brighton livery, this year marks the 70th anniversary of the types withdrawal for service in the south coast town. The Museum is not yet accepting pre-orders for these models and will announce further details nearer the expected release date of Spring 2018.
