| All the OOC model details found on this site were kindly supplied by Peter Harrison and taken from his comprehensive OOC model list. Peter is currently overhauling this list and as part of this process is adding some additional information, among the new fields is one giving the legal name of the operator which is usually included as part of the small legal address information on the models. Peter's complete set of model lists covering the main 1/76th scale model bus ranges along with lists for the 1/76th car & commercial vehicles produced by Hornby Skaledale, Pocketbond Classix, Base Toys & Oxford Die-cast can be found on the Worldwide Model Buses site  |

| Corgi have released their first batch of models since their buy out by Hornby at the beginning of May. Only one OOC model is among the new releases but a second model is due next week. | New Corgi OOC RTW Variate |
Stuart Tsar has provide details and pictures of a new London Transport RTW model based on the OOC casting. The model has been produced exclusively for Atlas Editions and features a red central area RTW4 on route 22 bound for Chelsea. The model lacks a lot of the finer details found on standard OOC releases, most notably a lot of the tampo printed details have been omitted as have the windscreen wiper, mirrors & traffic indicators. The model carries Jacobs advertisements on both sides and is supplied in an OOC style red finished box bearing "Corgi Great British Buses" legends & Atlas Editions logos. The models are believed to have been advertised in a Sunday newspaper supplement earlier this year but there is currently no reference to the model on the Atlas Editions website. The models were offered at a special low price of just £1.99 and are not certificated although a pamphlet is included with the model giving a brief history of the RTW. No offical catalogue number is indicated on the models packaging. Further pictures and details can be found on the models page. |
