7th Edition of the EFE & Corgi OOC Model Guide

The North Weald Bus Rally on the 1st July will see the publication of the latest 7th edition of Anne Letch's comprehensive Model Bus Guide. Anne Letch has contacted me to confirm that the new edition has now been printed and copies are expected to be delivered to the publisher early next week. Following many requests this years edition has been spiral bound for the first time which means the book will now lay flat when open on any page. The new edition includes full details of all the models released up to the end of May 2007 and now covers well in excess of 2300 different 1:76th scale model buses produced by EFE, OOC, Britbus, CMNL and ABC. Copies of the guide will also be available from selected model dealers and can still be ordered direct from the publisher L.B.R.T. for £9.99 including p&p. Allen Green Maidstone Corporation Guy Arab Utility

Allen Green Wholesale commissioned an OOC Guy Arab Utility double deck Maidstone Corporation model in 2006. This code 2 model OM43914 was a limited edition of 1,500 pieces and one year on from its release Allen Green has decided to re-work 300 of the remaining models as OM43914A by applying an alternative destination of Tovil. This work has been carried out by London Bus Repaints & Transfers on behalf of Allen Green and these new code 3 versions are now available to collectors direct from Allen Green Wholesale. Additionally a limited quantity of the original version with Derby Rd destinations is still available from the same source. The models are priced as follows plus £1.75 p&p per model: OM43914     - Original Code 2 version with Derby Rd destination - £24.95 OM43914A  - New Code 3 version with Tovil destination               - £27.95 A printable PDF format order form or a Jpeg scan are available for anyone wishing to purchase these models.
