Notes | The model depicts London Country Bus Services LN10 which along sister vehicles LN8,9 & 11 were delivered to Nottingham City Transport for an extended period of hire for evaluation trials in 1972/3. All four vehicles were eventually taken into the London Country fleet, but only LN9 entered passenger service with the operator, the other three were sent to Hants & Dorset in exchange for three Metro-Scania single deck buses. NPD 110L became 3626 in it's new owners fleet and continued in service with them until 1980/1. It then passed to Bristol City (1462) where it continued in service until the early 1990s. NPD 110L used production chassis no. 218. The model carries London Country Bus Services legal lettering. |
