Notes | This Leyland National Co Ltd Demonstrator is depicted while on loan to Aberdeen Corporation during 1972, it doesn't carry any fleet names for the operator. The vehicle used the final pre-production chassis no. 010 and after use as a demonstrator it was converted for use by the Leyland Technical Training School. The bus eventually entered passenger service and its last operator was Sussex Coaches of Ayling. FRM 499K is currently undergoing restoration at the North West Vehicle Restoration Trust and is the only known surviver from the batch of ten pre-production vehicles built. |
