THE REAL COACHES
The Grenadier was the last coach design produced by the Hove based builder. First produced in 1964 the Grenadier like the earlier Cavalier was built on Leyland Leopard and AEC Reliance chassis',
however production was short as Harrington's closed down in 1965. The BET group companies were major customers for the coach, but like previous Harrington products many were also supplied to small
independent concerns. |

THE EFE MODELS
The Grenadier like the Cavalier came in two versions (122 with front roof destination box and 123 without the roof box). Both models represent a 30ft long version of the vehicle, however the majority
of the actual coaches were built to a length 33ft making some of the models produced inaccurate. The models often feature mock tampo printed front and / or side cove windows. Surprisingly there have been no new releases of the version with the roof destination since 1993.
