| I'm sure many of you will have met Frank Joyce's wife Brenda at various events including Showbus over the years. Frank reports in his latest newsletter that Brenda was hosiptalised for a week at the end of September following a long period of weight loss. Brenda has now been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes but Frank reports she's now a lot better and getting used to the idea and has spent some time back in the office. I'm sure you will join me in wishing her a speedy recovery back to good health. On the model front Franks reports that the factories in China are now getting used to working within the new Labour Laws, output has begun to improve and has enabled EFE to start catching up by producing a double issue release sheet. This improvement has also allowed the release of the Isle of Wight Tube Network Southeast Train Set in November and brought forward the release of the first London Transport RC 4 bay BET 36 foot coach to January. The four remaining EFE 20th Anniversary models are now in production and these will soon be ready to be mailed out to those who ordered. There are no new models to report but the the following models will be releases during the week ending the 29th November: 16323DL Green Line (route 447) - Bristol LS ECW Bus 23320 London Transport (route 218 / last day in service) - AEC RF Class Bus 27314 Scout Motor Services - Leyland TD1 Enclosed Staircase 32206 Hants & Dorset - Bristol RELH ECW Coach EFE have supplied a PDF version of the latest release sheets, Issue 10 & 11 2009.
