The Plaxton Mini-Pointer was the shortest version of this popular bus type produced. CMNL released their first model version in February 2004 and with over 30 releases this is by far the most issued single deck model in the current range. A pair of twin model sets have been produced depicting provincial & London versions of the bus operated by both Arriva (UKBUS 3014) & Stagecoach (UKBUS 3004). Alexander Dennis eventually replaced the Pointer range with the Enviro200. CMNL have also followed suite and a comparable 8.9m version of the Enviro200 was added to the range in 2007. Two further prosposed releases were announced in 2012, however following the demise of Creative Master it now seems unlikley that this pair will ever be released by reformed Northcord Model Company To date NMCL hasn't announced plans for any further releases in this series. |
