CMNL's first UK derived model was the Alexander ALX400 bodied Dennis Trident, the model can be produced in both single & dual door layout, two open top variants were added to the range in 2009. A pair of models have also been issued depicting Volvo B7TL versions of the ALX400 (UKBUS0001 & UKBUS0030).

The model has an opening rear engine panel which gives access to a fully detailed engine. Like the other CMNL models that followed it this casting features a high level of both internal and external detailing.

The impressive list of over 50 buses below makes this model by far the most issued of any in the CMNL / NMCL range.

Two further models were announced during 2012 however is now seems unlikely that either UKBUS0035 or UKBUS1051 will ever be produced.

At the start of 2020 Northcord announced two new issues of the open top model. They also started a new dedicated UKBUS 1500 series for this casting variation. Two such CMNL models were issued during 2008/9 & allocated product numbers in the main UKBUS1000 or IEBBUS series prior to this decision.
