The following model has now been released, thanks are extended to Daves Die-casts for supplying a picture of the production model. A new batch of nine Base Toys lorries was announced earlier this month and pictures of six of these have now been published by wholesaler John Ayrey Die-Casts. | Happy New Year & Welcome to the Britbus Zone | ||
| I bet you didn't expect yet another addition to my to the Model Bus Zone family of web sites so soon! Well to be honest this should have launched with the CMNL site last week but it wasn't quite ready in time. I plan to further expand this site to cover the associated Base Toys models in the very near future and will probably also add coverage of the earlier ABC range of models which preceded the Britbus Range. As with the CMNL & OOC Zones the process of building this site has been greatly speeded up due to the kind assistance provided by Peter Harrison who has once again allowed me to use his comprehensive Britbus Model List to generate the model pages found on this site. You can view all his excellent Model Lists on the The Model Bus website, theses have just been updated to cover all the model releases up to the end of 2009, his lists are the result of many many hours of research and are the most comprehensive database of 1/76 scale models available on the Web. I most also thank once again Hattons Model Railways for allowing my to plunder their eDiecast website for the majority of the pictures found on this new site, likewise thanks are also extended to Allsorts Models & trade wholesaler & Britbus UK Distributor John Ayrey Die-casts for similar permission to use pictures from their sites. I hope you find the contents of this site useful but if you should spot any errors or bad links please feel free to contact me and point them out so I can rectify them. Due to some changes in the layout of the site files quite a lot of Britbus thumbnail picture pop-ups on the Fleet Focus pages are now missing. I am aware of this problem and will be correcting theses and adding working page links for all the Britbus & CMNL models listed in due course. Finally I like to thank everyone who has contacted me or contributed in some way to my sites over the past 12 months, your input and reports pointing out my many gaffs are always greatly appreciated.
